These photos are the product of the final stage of multi-step project which included a photo scavenger hunt. Students were asks to bring to class a cheap disposable camera (for a more grainy, out-of-focus look). They were then given a list of items to photograph – based on elements and principles of design; and conceptual thought (line, repitition, anarchism, eternal etc..) Students brought their photos to class and we spent some time guessing what the photos represented. Then students were instructed to create a 3D design using their photographs. The cube element was recommended, but not required.
