Intro to Drawing
Portfolio at least 20" x 26" or larger, may be purchased or Constructed from foam core and strapping tape keep your drawings neatly in this.

Newsprint pad, 18" x 24"

Drawing pad, 18" x 24", about 50 sheets, 80lb press (i.e. not too thin) Strathmore series 400 is a good one

Sketchbook 9"x 11"

Spring clips (or bulldog clips) big enough to hold the aforementioned paper

Charcoal a goodly supply:

 Vine Charcoal Medium and Soft

 Compressed Charcoal: Medium softness

Pencils: 2B (Medium), 4B (Soft), 6B (extra soft), and HB (Hard)

Ebony Jet Black Pencils (as needed)

Erasers: Kneaded Rubber Eraser, White Plastic Eraser, and /or pink pearl.

Blood and sweat (tears are optional)

Note: Additional or replacement supplies will be necessary as the semester advances. You are not restricted to the supplies on this list.

Time and Space
Most materials will be listed as needed. Below is a short list of immediate needs.
